Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what we need to do the work, we keep it safe, and we delete it when you ask.
What we collect
If you fill in our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message. If you become a client we also hold billing details and any logins you share with us so we can do the work.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry, quote for work, deliver the project, invoice you and keep your site running. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking for it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together, plus six years for tax and accounting purposes.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need to. That means our own small team and the suppliers we use to run the business, such as hosting, email and accounting providers. Forms on this site are delivered to us by Formspree, so anything you type into a form passes through them on the way to our inbox. Each supplier is bound by their own data protection obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels or third party profiling. Because there is nothing to consent to, you will not see a cookie banner. If we ever add analytics we will keep it privacy friendly and update this page first.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
Logins are stored in a password manager, sites are served over HTTPS, and backups are taken regularly. No system is perfect, so if anything ever goes wrong we will tell you promptly and plainly.
